About Noelle Gunsay
Experience
Noelle Gunsay is a classically trained oil painter based in Salt Lake City. Noelle has studied under several prominent artists around the United States, most notably at Grand Central Atelier in NYC, and has assisted workshops, aided muralists, and mentored on the college level. Noelle has received over twenty awards recognizing her artistic abilities, displayed her work in over twenty different exhibitions, and has been included in three different publications highlighting her work. In addition Noelle greatly anticipates pursuing her masters at Florence Academy of Art starting 2024.
Style
Noelle's artwork is intimate. It often highlights a portrait or figure. She uses a warm palette of reds, yellows, and oranges to create an inviting ambience. To add tension, Noelle balances the warmth with undertones of blues, greens, and violets. Each piece also showcases a strong light impact which produces clear shapes and soft sub-forms. Using a variety of techniques, She take advantage of the various mediums’ attributes to generate a graphic and compelling image.
